Krav Maga Instructor Training Program
To become a Krav Maga Systems Instructor means that a student has gone through the highest level of training and education. Our process is unlike any other within this region, and as a result our program produces the highest calibre of Krav Maga Instructor you will find.
We focus on not only teaching an instructor how to teach and how to bring out the best in their students, but we teach them to be exceptional at it. We provide knowledge that is holistic to give our instructors the highest level of know-how in their art. We help them to be better at Krav Maga, at teaching, at running their business and a great deal more. We care for our people and want them to excel at what they do.
Our Instructor Programs are not run to the public. That's one of the things that really separates us in the market. We do not teach people to be instructors if they've never done a class with us before. We don't care if they've got black belts in multiple disciplines, we are dedicated to keeping our system pure and authentic and ensuring we do not sell-out to profiteering. Krav Maga cannot be taught to be taught to anyone in 5 to 10 days, irrespective of how experienced someone is in a combat sport or martial arts.
At Krav Maga Systems we have the following stream of Instructor Program:
Instructor Synchronisation: This process is for existing Krav Maga Instructors to join our network. It initiates them into our system and ensures they know everything they need to know to run our programs.
Assistant Instructor Program:
Our Assistant Instructor Program is delivered over 3 days and can be delivered completely stand-alone or as part of a Practitioner Instructor Program. This year it is combined and begins on September the 1st, 2017. To do the program one needs to be a Krav Maga Systems student for at least 12 months and have a good training record with proven skills and ability.
Practitioner Instructor Program
Part 1 of our Practitioner Instructor Program begins on September 1st. The following 2 parts will be delivered over October and January next year. This program is for experienced Krav Maga students ready to embark into the world of instructing. It will deliver beginner to intermediate Krav Maga skills and knowledge to the practitioner and give them the ability to teach it within a Krav Maga Systems facility or associate school. This course is the delivered over 150+ hours of practical work and training, with a minimum of 6 months to complete the program.
Graduate Instructor Program
The Graduate Instructor Program is the natural progression of a Practitioner Instructor. It represents a much higher level of knowledge and experience in Krav Maga and teaching it. Once a Practitioner Instructor has 6 months teaching experience they will be invited to take part in the next program. This program is an additional 50 hours of theory and practical work to gain access to the program and qualify as a Graduate Instructor. Once this has happened, the Instructor will then work on all components and electives within the Graduate Instructor Program to progress to the Expert Instructor Program. This process can take many years, on average about 5-7 years to get through all the components and qualify as the industries equivalent of Black Belt.
